TMZ has learned, the LAPD is now investigating a company that was soliciting models "for a paid celebrity photoshoot and clothing line."
Aspiring models who contacted the company after seeing an Instagram ad were then told Amber Rose was a key person in picking the models.
The company -- which was allegedly trying to lure the models into prostitution -- enticed them by setting up what they called a FaceTime session with Amber.

The fundraiser for the family of Matt Ulrich is closing in on a total of $80,000, with the Super Bowl winner's funeral set to take place on Monday.
Ulrich died at the of 41 earlier in November - a cause of death has not yet been announced. He leaves behind his wife, Alison, and their four sons.
His funeral will be held on Monday at a church in Bozeman, Montana.
The fundraiser, which stands at $78,773 at the time of writing, was set up by friends of the family and, in its bio, says the money 'will go directly to the Ulrich boys.
Rogue Traders Presenter Admits Fraud
BBC Rogue Traders presenter Dan Penteado, who is from Bournemouth, pleaded guilty to council tax and housing benefit fraud to the tune of more than £24,000.
Penteado, 40, who co-hosts the programme with Matt Allwright, admitted eight offences of dishonestly or knowingly claiming the benefits while not declaring he earned thousands from the BBC for the show.
Penteado was warned he could face jail and he was granted bail while a pre-sentence report is prepared.
