The family of a woman who died in the Galapagos Islands in 2014 are planning to return to the scene of her death to prove it she was murdered and did not commit suicide as claimed by local police.
Valerie De La Valdene was found dead in the home she rented in Puerto Ayora in June 2014. She was 48-years-old and died of a single gunshot wound to the head.

Another 56 Ministry of Defence sites are to close around the UK, including St David's Barracks in Bicester.
The Defence Secretary says other sites which'll shut over the next ten years are Vauxhall Barracks in Didcot and Dalton Barracks including Abingdon Airfield.
Sir Michael Fallon said the estate is too big and costly to run, and releasing the land could enable the building of up to 55,000 new homes.
Announcing the closures in the Commons, Sir Michael said: ``This strategy looks ahead to 2040 to provide a better defence estate.
Police Believe They've Found Missing Woman's Body
It appears that the search for Rachel Morin has taken a tragic turn.
Maryland authorities believe the body of the missing 37-year-old—who disappeared on Aug. 5 while on the Ma & Pa Heritage Trail in the town of Bel Air—has been found.
"While it was all of our hope...that Rachel would be found safe," officials from the Harford County Sheriff's Office said during an Aug. 6 media briefing, "at about 1:07 p.m., a citizen called 911 to report a female's body had been located off the trail.

A huge pile of unopened fan mail sent to Taylor Swift has been discovered in a dumpster in Swift's hometown of Nashville, Tennessee.
Local resident Kaylee Francescan discovered the letters which, she said, were "covered with pictures, hearts and sparkles", when she went to throw out her own rubbish.
