It's no secret that Willow Smith is a spacey gal. And no, we don't mean absent-minded; we mean she literally loves outer space. In fact, she previously professed her love for the cosmos in a July 2021 interview with Allure, talking about her appointment as a brand ambassador for Mugler's Alien Goddess perfume. "I've always been into everything and anything extraterrestrial," she recalled. "I've also been into goddesses throughout history, mythology, and religion — representations of the divine feminine." Apparently, she loves the cosmos so much that she recently had the image of a galaxy tattooed onto her arm. 

Taking to Instagram on March 2, Willow Smith shared a photo of her new ink with the caption, "my manzz did it AGAIN!!," with her nine million-plus followers. The tattoo depicts a hand extending out to a galaxy. 

Los Angeles-based tattoo artist Raymond Jimenez of Body Electric tattoo studio is responsible for her new ink. Jimenez also shared a photo and two videos of Smith's tat on Instagram, providing a close-up look of the details. "Reaching into the cosmos with @willowsmith done at #bodyelectrictattoo," he confirmed in his latest post. 

Smith's space-themed tattoo reminds us a lot of Instagram's beloved zodiac tattoo trend. Similar to her galaxy ink, zodiac tattoos also take some cues from the stars, in addition to the principles of astrology.
